MHA Auchlochan has been developed within a fine 50 acre estate whose history can be traced back over several centuries. As well as the lochans that give the village its name, residents enjoy the variety of a planned parkland setting that merges into mature woodland, particularly along the River Nethan valley.
Not too be missed, either, are the delightful walled gardens behind The Courtyard and the ‘little Venice’-style canal.
As a member of the Scotland’s Gardens Scheme, the Auchlochan grounds attract many visitors in their own right.
While it will always be our policy that the gardens are for the benefit of our own residents first and foremost, everyone derives great pleasure from the knowledge that they are developing a reputation amongst professional and amateur gardeners all over Scotland.
