MHA at Auchlochan
MHA has developed a strategy for Auchlochan that is both practical and pastoral. At its heart are our values, founded on love, compassion and respect.
We aim to extend the range of accommodation and services available at Auchlochan, and develop further communal facilities to promote well-being and socialising. We plan to develop:
- Phase 2 of The Retreat
- a “village centre” between Auchlochan House and the existing Courtyard and Coffee Shop, to include a variety of recreational facilities
- increased opening hours at the Coffee Shop, including evening meals
- additional recreational options, following consultation with residents
- a Care Hotel service, offering holidays and short breaks
In all our caring, we aim for the highest standards. At Auchlochan we will continue to:
- promote well-being and fulfilment
- develop dementia care
- develop End of Life care and spirituality
- offer attractive and well-designed homes and housing
- enhance quality assurance systems
- deliver consistently high standards of catering
- recruit and retain managers and staff with the right skills, experience and attitude
