Welcome to our Courtyard Coffee Shop.

The coffee shop, which is situated within Auchlochan House, has become one of the main meeting points where residents, relatives and visitors feel equally at ease. Located within the original stable courtyard of the mansion house, the facility is covered by an extensive glass atrium which is, of course, heated all year round. The olde-worlde theme is enhanced by the brick flooring and authentic period antiques.

Many of the 'courtyard' residents eat daily here, if they choose not to cater for themselves. The coffee shop is open to visitors, and we would encourage you to make use of it. Please however check opening times if travelling a distance. Small groups, i.e. church outings, women's groups, guilds, etc., are welcome although please book ahead.

Incidentally bring the kids, so many families feel that children may 'upset' the atmosphere! Not so! Auchlochan is about families, and if they get bored there are bikes to hire, lawns to play on and toys in the coffee shop!

Contrary to popular belief the majority of older people love to see children!

At Auchlochan we believe we are an integral part of our local Christian community. This belief is reinforced by the number of bridal parties that visit our grounds to capture in print those most cherished moments of their new lives together. To further develop this relationship with the community we have opened up our unlicensed facilities to provide an idyllic and beautifully picturesque environment to host your wedding reception. Our fully accessible Powerpoint presentation set up also enables us to host your Conference or AGM.
